I volunteer in Mexicali, Mexico walking dogs that are chained to short leashes. I then eat at the many available taquerias and eat only salsas, beans and veggies. People wonder and ask why I don’t eat meat. I then am able to discuss with them the concept of living a cruelty free lifestyle and vegan diet.
