Vegan fast food is getting easier to find.

I liked vegancuts for a while but I noticed a decline in quality items. i recently switched to a Dear Vegan snack box and I’ve been loving them http://www.dearveganbox.com/

Love the vegan burrito from Mad Mex! We are on the road a lot but try to be prepared by taking snacks and just buying fruit when we don’t have time to prepare anything.

There are a lot of cool new vegan products coming out which we try to add to my site http://www.veganproductfinda.com

https://vegancuts.com/ is one of the best sites to order snacks from. Either that or Amazon also have a lot of options.

I think there are a lot more vegan products becoming available at supermarkets etc in Australia which is good!

In reply to Britt. I know this is a bit late but the veggie burgers are mostly potato, with some peas, corn, ect to add a little more vegetables Or at least that's what my manager said, I work at hungry jacks so I try to make sure I know what's in what we make

The veggie whopper is actually most likely not vegan even if you order it minus the cheese and mayo as it contains the additive 635 which usually comes from meat. This is in the ingredient list on the website https://www.hungryjacks.com.au/menu/whopper-icons/veggie-whopper. Disgusted I have been eating these for years! If you read the additives for the buns even these are types that often come from animals.

I’ve asked in my local Subway about their breads and wraps and have been told that they all have milk in them, so they’re not vegan. I was informed that the only truly vegan option they have is the salad bowl

With kebabs and such and falafel rolls, just be sure to ask about the pitas and wraps they come in. My local kebab place was really open and honest and explained they use butter in their pitas so I just get a “falafel plate” instead of roll. 🙂

We asked VO’s Australia Outreach Coordinator, Sam Tucker, to confirm the ingredients of the veggie whopper. Here’s what he found:

There is no beef fat in the veggie whopper, the ingredients are all listed on their website here: https://www.hungryjacks.com.au/menu/whopper-icons/veggie-whopper

It’s vegan as long as you order it without the mayo and the cheese.
